The City of Stockholm offers civil ceremonies via etjanster.stockholm.se. The number of available slots is limited, and demand — especially for Saturdays in spring and summer — is enormous.

What Vigsel Alert does not do
Transparency matters to us. Vigsel Alert:
- –Makes no bookings on your behalf.
- –Does not log in to etjanster.stockholm.se using your credentials.
- –Does not interact with BankID or any government identity system.
- –Cannot guarantee the slot will still be available when you click — competition is fierce.
All bookings are made by you, personally. We make sure you are among the first to know when a slot opens.
Privacy and security
We store your email address and your preferred date range — nothing more. Data is held in Google Firestore within the EU and is never shared with third parties beyond the processors needed to run the service (Resend for email, Stripe for payment). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The service monitors the booking page at regular, frequent intervals. We balance check frequency with respectful use of the underlying service.
What if I miss the notification?
Alerts are sent immediately, but slots disappear fast. We strongly recommend enabling browser push notifications in addition to email — you will hear from us the instant a slot appears, without needing to check your inbox.
Can I unsubscribe at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your alert at any time — directly via the link in any alert email, or via the Delete my data page. Your information is deleted within 30 days.
Are you affiliated with the City of Stockholm?
No. Vigsel Alert is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the City of Stockholm or any government authority. We only read publicly accessible information from the booking page.
